Summer Grillin' and Chillin'

Get ready for a relaxing, informative, and satisfying wine and food event July 14, 2011 at Homewood Suites-East from 7 to 9 p.m. Please come at 6:30 p.m. to register, as we must start exactly at 7 p.m.

Our event promises to be a great function for the Pennsylvania Wine Society. Included in your attendance are grilling tips, recipes, demonstrations, wine and food pairing information, good discussions, and just plain enjoyment. For your pleasure, the speakers are presenting delicious food with instructional demonstrations that you can duplicate at home.

In order to provide some fun for you, why not think about how you would pair the corresponding wines with the food courses or an individual food before the event. Take some time in the next few weeks and match the foods with the wines below. The list of wines is not in correct order. During the evening’s event, learn how your pairings match the professionals’ pairings. You do not need to share what you choose. Or, you can share and challenge the pros with your reasons. This activity is only for fun and learning purposes.

What’s better than a great meal paired with good wine, sitting outside and enjoying the weather with people who have the same interest in food and wine as you? Coming to the Summer Grillin’ and Chilin’ event where you do not have to do the cooking or select the wines! Besides a great meal, your evening will provide instructional grilling techniques, recipes, and information on the evening’s food/wine pairing. Come experience a five-course meal paired with delicious wines prepared and presented by Palate Partners, Thursday evening, July 14, 2011 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Homewood Suites-East (a Hilton property) on Techport Drive, Harrisburg, PA.

This is a perfect time for your friends or neighbors who are interested in joining PWS to come enjoy food, wine, and great conversation. Palate Partners will be both instructive in their grilling presentations with accompanying recipes, and active in leading wine/food pairing discussions at each table. Palate Partners has been providing these wonderful dining experiences for years throughout PA. Whether you want to learn how to prepare grilled food or you are just looking for new techniques, this evening is for you. When you leave the event, you will be able to recreate this evening at home to enjoy.
